Sai Medical Group ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sai Medical Attendance App. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and share information in connection with our mobile application.

Our app is an internal tool designed strictly for the employees and staff of Sai Medical Group to mark their daily attendance. It is not intended for general public use.

1. Information We Collect

To enable the features of the attendance system, the app collects the following information:

Location Data (Precise Location): When you perform a "punch-in" or "punch-out", the app requests access to your device's precise location (GPS) to verify that you are physically present at the designated store/work location.
Device Information: We collect your device name and unique device identifier to prevent duplicate accounts and secure the login session.
User Identifiers: Your staff name and staff code are processed to map attendance records to your employee file.

🚨 Important Note on Location Collection:

We only access location data when you interactively mark your attendance (foreground use). The location data is checked against the coordinates of the designated medical stores. We DO NOT continuously track your location in the background or sell your location data to any third parties.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information for the following business purposes:

To record and verify daily attendance (Punch-in / Punch-out).
To ensure accurate distance reporting between the employee and the assigned medical store at the time of punching.
To secure user sessions and prevent unauthorized access.
To monitor app performance and report errors.

3. Permissions Requested

To function correctly, the app requests the following system permissions:

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required to verify the user's presence at the workplace during shift timings.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to send attendance reminders and status alerts.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: Requested to ensure local shift alerts and background synchronization services continue to work properly even when the device enters low-power mode.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect employee information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All database queries and transmissions are encrypted using standard HTTPS protocols.
